Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the firmness for my topper and pillow?

When it comes to natural latex products, many prefer their bedding materials to be soft but supportive. However, if you have a health condition such as chronic back pain, scoliosis, or a spine injury it may be better to choose bedding that is medium in firmness. Kids and teenagers are also advised to sleep on medium-firm bedding. Despite our recommendations, it is always important to consult a doctor before choosing your bedding products. Personal preference should also be a major consideration, as what works for one person may not work for another. For example, if you prefer a soft pillow, you may want to consider our soft natural latex pillow with a lower density. On the other hand, if you prefer a firmer pillow, a natural latex medium firm or firm pillow may be a better fit for you.

Which pillows are the best for side sleepers, stomach sleepers, and back sleepers?

For side sleepers, a thick pillow that supports the neck and keeps the spine in alignment is best. A natural latex pillow with a thick enough profile can be a good option. For stomach sleepers, a thinner pillow is probably a better choice to keep the spine in a neutral position and prevent the head from being pushed forward. For back sleepers, a pillow that is medium soft, or firm and supports the natural curve of the neck is ideal. For both side and back sleepers, a contoured design pillow can be also a good choice. It's worth noting that some pillows are multi-position and can be suitable for all sleepers. Anyway, it is always better to choose according to your preferences, as what works for one person may not work for another.

Are the pillowcases and covers removable and washable?

Yes, the outer case can be removed and washed as it is made with natural cotton materials.

How can I clean my natural latex pillow or topper?

Latex products can be spot cleaned with gentle hand soap in warm water if required. Our natural cotton covers provide reliable dust and dirt protection and can be machine washed, dry-cleaned, and ironed.

What are basic care instructions for latex products?

Natural latex pillows and toppers can keep their shape for the lifetime of the product. Gentle spot cleaning in warm water with mild soap is always a good way to wash them. To dry, spread the product out in a room temperature away from sunlight and heat. Never use a machine washer or dryer. It is not advised to dry clean or iron latex products.

Why the pillow I've just received looks smaller than I expected and how long will it take it to get to its original size after being delivered?

The pillow you received may look smaller than expected because it was compressed and rolled for shipment. Natural latex pillows, like the ones made by Dream Logix, need time to expand back to their original size after being delivered. As soon as you unpack it, the pillow will start to expand and it will reach its full size within a few days. It's important to note that the duration of the expansion process may vary depending on the environment. Still, it's just a matter of time before the pillow will be back to its original size.

Do Dream Logix toppers and pillows have a rubber smell?

Our natural latex toppers and pillows will have a slight rubber smell in the beginning of usage. If you are sensitive to smells, do not worry. Simply remove the pillow from the outer pillowcase and allow it to air out in a dry room away from direct sunlight for a period of either a couple of hours or a couple of days, depending on your preference. The scent should disappear over time.

What is the origin of our natural latex products?

Most of our latex comes from Thailand, which provides an optimal climate for rubber tree plantations. Then, the final material is produced in China.
